Cory was born and raised in West Texas where there were more rattlesnakes and scorpions than people. He got his start at a young age working in the oil field where he roughnecked on a drilling rig. After trying his hand at oil prospecting, he then started a career at Union Pacific where he worked in construction for 10 years while going to college. After working at Union Pacific, Cory decided to pursue his dream of practicing law. He enrolled at Creighton University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude, was published in the Creighton Law Review, admitted into the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi, and concentrated his studies on litigation.
Now, Cory is a litigation associate at Erickson | Sederstrom, P.C. His practice focuses on construction law, workers’ compensation, property disputes, commercial real estate, property damage, and personal injury law. Cory has spent most of his life working in dangerous places, like the oil field, and participating in construction projects of all sizes. He understands construction, construction projects, and the hard-working men and women who do that work.
Outside of his law practice, Cory serves at his church, coaches youth athletics, and seeks out opportunities to serve in the community.
