Michelle J. Elkin
Michelle’s practice focuses on estate and gift planning, trust administration, probate of client estates, and federal and/or state taxation plans tailored to achieving each family’s unique needs. Michelle received her Juris Doctor from the University Of Nebraska College Of Law in 2017. She also completed Litigation and International Business Programs of concentrated study.
During law school, Michelle was a member of the Honor Court Committee, the National Legal Honor Society of Delta Theta Phi, advanced to the championship rounds of Nebraska Law’s Alan Frank and Craig Lawson Client Counseling Competition, and further honed her skills by clerking for a prominent and experienced estate planning counsel. Michelle was also a certified student attorney for the University of Nebraska’s renowned Civil Legal Clinic, where she gained valuable provisional experience by handling a full caseload while also hosting the first ever collaborative project between the Civil Clinic and Starbucks, Inc., whereby veterans and service members received limited-scope representation and legal advice.
Michelle is also a graduate of the University of South Dakota, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree, with honors, while also serving as captain of the Women’s Tennis Team, and has native proficiency in Russian.
